Newels old boys's Basilio Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Claude in the 5th minute of play. If Humberto Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mancherfield City's Casimiro Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu da Fonseca in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Remigio Atarrabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Froila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Casimiro Emeterio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Humberto Froila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newels old boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Froila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Erubiel Abella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newels old boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Segundo Claude came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mancherfield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Claude couldn't finish the play. Humberto Froila in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casimiro Emeterio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Froila in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Emeterio saved Mancherfield City from getting behind. Romeu da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

After a rather tough play, Mancherfield City's Godofredo Lopez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Casimiro Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Roldanillo in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Newels old boys's Humberto Froila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casimiro Emeterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basilio Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Claude in the 59th minute of play forced Newels old boys's goalkeeper Basilio Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Pierres got free with Basilio Lorien in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Mancherfield City got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Madeo. Mancherfield City's Casimiro Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu da Fonseca in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Pierres got free with Basilio Lorien in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Segundo Claude came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mancherfield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Claude couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Segundo Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Froila in the 76th minute of play. Humberto Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Casimiro Emeterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Emeterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu da Fonseca in the 90th minute of the match. Zeledon Pierres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Basilio Lorien made a huge save. Mancherfield City's Casimiro Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Froila in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Newels old boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
