Celedonio Ramond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Jimeno Ederono ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Ramond was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Aluminé AFC booed when sgs team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Aluminé AFC's Florencio Napier tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Jimeno Ederono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angel Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match Florencio Napier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Ramond showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Carmelo Llope fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aluminé AFC's protests and gave Carmelo Llope a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Aluminé AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Llope. Patricio Abascal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Leonardo Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
