Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Humberto Froila took the kick off in the first half of the match. The attack was good, but when Jonatan Alvarez in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Humberto Froila kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Teobaldo Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Lorien having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Jonatan Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Lorien was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match Guillermo Cebrian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Themis Kalomantis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Rojo de hudson's Jonatan Alvarez in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newels old boys's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Alvarez in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Lorien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rojo de hudson's Iker Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Jonatan Alvarez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Newels old boys's Basilio Lorien. Basilio Lorien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 minutes, Erubiel Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newels old boys and the Rojo de hudson players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Erubiel Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rojo de hudson's Uriel Acosta got a free kick in the 31st minute. Basilio Lorien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Humberto Froila in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Themis Kalomantis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Humberto Froila came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Themis Kalomantis could save by the left post. The Newels old boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rojo de hudson were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Alvarez made a kick off. Rojo de hudson's Themis Kalomantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Froila in the 53rd minute of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Jonatan Alvarez from a close distance when the talented Basilio Lorien managed to make a qualified save. Newels old boys's players were relieved. When Rojo de hudson's Jonatan Alvarez in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newels old boys's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Newels old boys's Basilio Lorien got control of the ball when Jonatan Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Themis Kalomantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Froila in the 60th minute of play. If Iker Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Newels old boys's zone, Iker Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Lorien came out of the goal and Iker Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Themis Kalomantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Lorien was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Teobaldo Mitxaut. Jonatan Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Lorien having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Jonatan Alvarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Basilio Lorien however easily saved by the left post. Basilio Lorien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Alvarez in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Froila in the 79th minute of play forced Rojo de hudson's goalkeeper Themis Kalomantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Romeu da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Newels old boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Iker Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Newels old boys's Basilio Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Newels old boys from getting a goal against them. After 95 played minutes Newels old boys got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Cebrian. 96 minutes into the match, Rojo de hudson's Teobaldo Mitxaut shot a high long ball. Newels old boys's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. Rojo de hudson's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
