Spectators: 3542 (Terracing: 3100, Seating: 420, VIP seats: 22) Sarah FC's Desiderio Mirande started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarah FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Evis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Sarah FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Ugutz. Tadeo Evis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Esquipula in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Koldobika. When Sarah FC's Desiderio Mirande in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. If Guillermo Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jorge Maiorga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarah FC's Tadeo Evis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Esquipula got free with Tadeo Evis in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Ugutz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Ugutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humberto Ugutz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Mirande came free, but Teofilo Huly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Huly came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Sarah FC's Braulio Martxot. But to his dismay, Braulio Martxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 46th minute Jorge Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sarah FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jorge Maiorga made the kick off in the second half. If Desiderio Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Desiderio Mirande scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Huly, making the score, 0-2. Braulio Martxot succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 57th playminute. Desiderio Mirande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teofilo Huly came out and tried to block the shot, but Desiderio Mirande slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Teofilo Huly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Martxot. When Victorino Koldobika came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Club Atletico River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Koldobika couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Raul Oskitz fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico River Plate's protests and gave Raul Oskitz a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilo Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Pacorro in the 77th minute of the match. If Jorge Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Martxot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Huly having to make a save. After having played for 94 minutes, Anacleto Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sarah FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sarah FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
