An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Honrio in the 19th minute of play forced Franco Canadiense's goalkeeper Cristo Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilfredo Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Ralondo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Franco Canadiense's Wilfredo Toro. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tulumba's goalkeeper Arnoldo Ralondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tulumba's zone, Wilfredo Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Ralondo came out of the goal and Wilfredo Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Ralondo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Cugat to make the kick off. Cristo Lohitzun was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Gogo Cugat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gogo Cugat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Gogo Cugat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Lohitzun was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Gogo Cugat didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 60th minute. Tulumba's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Gogo Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Lohitzun having to interfere. Eloy Farias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ralondo having to interfere. Arnoldo Ralondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Toro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute Eloy Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Farias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ralondo having to interfere. Eusebio Honrios short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Cristo Lohitzun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristo Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Cugat in the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Vermudo during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Franco Canadiense got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Vermudo. 92 minutes into the game, Carolo Oskitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Cristo Lohitzun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gogo Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tulumba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
