Eloy Farias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Franco Canadiense's goalkeeper Cristo Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Garaile. Silvano Chano might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Lohitzun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Chano ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Garaile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Farias in the 32nd minute of play forced La Banda FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilfredo Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Soter having to interfere. If Wilfredo Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Banda FC's Mauro Rodriguez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Blas Garaile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Cristo Lohitzun made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Toro to make the kick off. Tomás Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. La Banda FC's Lázaro Faron took a good shot, in the 56th minute, which hit the crossbar above Cristo Lohitzun's head, and flew over the goal. Franco Canadiense's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by La Banda FC. Silvano Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Faron hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Blas Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Garaile struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Cristo Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Farias got free with Elpidio Soter in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Elpidio Soter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eloy Farias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Soter having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Wilfredo Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franco Canadiense's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eloy Farias came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Franco Canadiense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Farias couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Toro in the 95th minute of play forced La Banda FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Banda FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
