Eusebio Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Soter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Elpidio Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Mero in the 11th minute of play. Silvano Chano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Benjamin Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda FC's zone, Tomás Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Soter came out of the goal and Tomás Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Soter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Mero in the 26th minute. Elpidio Soter made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Benjamin Mero sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Ursino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Soter having to make a save. Cornelio Lluis's late challenge caught a Luzuriaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Lluis helped the player get up and apologised. Cornelio Lluis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Blas Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Mero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Elpidio Soter 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, La Banda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Mero came free, but Elpidio Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Mero to make the kick off. Benjamin Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Elpidio Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusebio Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Benjamin Mero might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Soter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Mero ran back to his position shaking his head. Elpidio Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Celestino Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Elpidio Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Txomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Luzuriaga FC had played much better football throughout.
