After 8 played minutes Valenzuela FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Harriet. In the 10th match minute, Valenzuela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Feo to maneuver through the defense. Albano Hondo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Elpidio Oto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boedo FC. After a rather tough play, Valenzuela FC's Dante Quinteros got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Boedo FC's Dionisio Semeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 30th minute of the match Albano Hondo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Oto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elpidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Semeno in the 31st minute of the match. Santos Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lucas Cordarius made a huge save. When Boedo FC's Edgard Sabin in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Sabin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Boedo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Sabin was the one to do the kick off. Elpidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Semeno in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo FC's zone, Santos Harriet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Cordarius came out of the goal and Santos Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Albano Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boedo FC's Lucas Cordarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Ihintza in the 61st minute of play. Lucas Cordarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Harriet in the 63rd minute of the match. Valenzuela FC's Santos Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valenzuela FC's Antonio Geleberto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Oto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valenzuela FC's Nemesio Constancio got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 83 minutes of play, Valenzuela FC's Santos Harriet made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Cordarius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Harriet in the 89th minute of play. Edgard Sabin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Elpidio Oto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Boedo FC's Dionisio Semeno fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Maximino Ihintza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Cordarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Valenzuela FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Boedo FC had controlled the match.
