Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Clemente Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Garci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Osasun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Abalos came free, but Filiberto Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, LOS TOTOS's Bernardino Rosio got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dario Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Osasun having to interfere. If Clemente Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LOS TOTOS's zone, Saturnino Balendin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Osasun came out of the goal and Saturnino Balendin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Santos Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Niceto Alonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Hartz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Clemente Garci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Garci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of LOS TOTOS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmitas:s goal. If Clemente Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Lohitzun in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Osasun saved LOS TOTOS from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Saturnino Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Clemente Garci came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Garci couldn't finish the play. Fernando Selmo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filiberto Hartz. 2-2. Dario Lohitzun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Osasun having to make a save. Santos Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Dario Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Clemente Garci came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet.
