Anier Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Mannuel having to interfere. Eugenio Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Consolata 2001's Marcelino Elia got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ranquile FC's Godofredo Sazon got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Teobaldo Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Marcelino Elia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Osmundo. Marcelino Elia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Desiderio Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Indartsu in the 28th minute of the match. Marcelino Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Camilo Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Corderro struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Eugenio Mannuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranquile FC. 37 minutes into the match, Ranquile FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Osmundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Elia. Marcelino Elia kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 39thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ranquile FC's keeper Desiderio Osmundo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Haroldo Indartsu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Desiderio Osmundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Consolata 2001. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Indartsu was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, La Consolata 2001's goalkeeper Eugenio Mannuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Ticho. After having played for 66 minutes, Anier Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquile FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Ticho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the La Consolata 2001 defense, Anier Ticho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Mannuel. The La Consolata 2001 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Mannuel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Ticho got free with Eugenio Mannuel in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidio Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Dolfos's late challenge caught a Ranquile FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Dolfos helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Desiderio Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Mannuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Corderro in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, Ranquile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ranquile FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
