The penalty shot was made by Fernando Selmo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of los lagartos's Haroldo Mitxel. 0-1. los lagartos's Reynaldo Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. los lagartos's Julian Porfirio got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Gaspar Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los lagartos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Jerold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Osasun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Abalos in the 30th minute of play forced los lagartos's goalkeeper Haroldo Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Alonso struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Haroldo Mitxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS TOTOS. After a defensive mix-up in LOS TOTOS's zone, Gaspar Jerold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Osasun came out of the goal and Gaspar Jerold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. los lagartos's Haroldo Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Abalos in the 35th minute of play. Haroldo Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Alonso in the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the los lagartos defense, Niceto Alonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Mitxel. The los lagartos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Mitxel should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gerardo Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS TOTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Mitxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Ferran to make the kick off. Reynaldo Ferran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Santos Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Haroldo Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Osasun having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Reynaldo Ferran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Reynaldo Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Ferran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
