When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Chaime made a kick off. When Jeremias Chaime came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Reptiles de Satan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Chaime couldn't finish the play. Daniel Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Hartz having to interfere. Dario Lohitzun's late challenge caught a Reptiles de Satan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Lohitzun helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Lluc charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Lluc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiburcio Hunfredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Natalio Pagomari tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Silvio Aragones. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 77th minute. During the 79th minute of the match Dario Lohitzun completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dario Lohitzun a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Reptiles de Satan booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Reptiles de Satan defense, Saturnino Balendin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Aragones. The Reptiles de Satan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Aragones should have stopped the shot. Domingos Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Silvio Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Benito Gorosti struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Silvio Aragones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. Silvio Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Garci in the 93rd minute of the match. Evaristo Ibañez's late challenge caught a Palmitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Garci might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Aragones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Garci ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palmitas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Reptiles de Satan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
