Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ovidio Corderro made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Iruya got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Karlo. Generoso Iliana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseo Jeraldo. Iruya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Anier Ticho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eliseo Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Ticho in the 11th minute of play. Eliseo Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Honorato Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Osmundo having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Ranquile FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Osmundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Bazkoare. After a rather tough play, Ranquile FC's Teobaldo Vedillo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ranquile FC's Desiderio Osmundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ranquile FC from getting a goal against them. Anier Ticho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eliseo Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Osmundo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Iruya's Arturo Claris got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Dabi in the 42nd minute of play forced Iruya's goalkeeper Eliseo Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Teobaldo Vedillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Anier Ticho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iker Videl kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Ovidio Corderro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseo Jeraldo. Ovidio Corderro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 69th minute, Iker Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Candido Galtero in the 75th minute really tested Eliseo Jeraldo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 79th minute, Generoso Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Iruya's Isaac Udalaitz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Desiderio Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Fidencio in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Isaac Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iruya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Udalaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Fidencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Osmundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Anier Ticho took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Jeraldo. Eliseo Jeraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Justino Bazkoare's late challenge caught a Ranquile FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Bazkoare helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ranquile FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
