After a rather tough play, los lagartos's Gaspar Jerold got a free kick in the 14th minute. Haroldo Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Mikelar in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Mikelar in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Mitxel saved los lagartos from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, los lagartos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Bartuelo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Mergildo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of los lagartos booed when Ánimas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ánimas's Efrain Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Mitxel having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Efrain Mikelar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Mitxel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Oliverios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldo Mitxel. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 39th minute, Elvio Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Mikelar in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd play minute Julian Oliverios came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Haroldo Mitxel. 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, los lagartos's goalkeeper Haroldo Mitxel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Mikelar. Ánimas's Julian Oliverios got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Omar Damario made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Albino Restu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Mitxel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Efrain Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Haroldo Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the los lagartos defense, Efrain Mikelar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Mitxel. The los lagartos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Mitxel should have stopped the shot. Julian Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Julian Oliverios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Mitxel was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 65 minutes, Julian Oliverios made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. los lagartos's Haroldo Mitxel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, los lagartos's Gaspar Jerold got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Efrain Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Julian Oliverios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but los lagartos's Haroldo Mitxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Efrain Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Efrain Mikelar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Mitxel was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After having played for 94 minutes, Efrain Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ánimas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Julian Oliverios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ánimas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ánimas had played much better football throughout.
