The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colana. The referee gave Forres FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ubaldo Totakoxe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colana's Viriato Lessa. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Abechuco got free with Benedicto Artizar in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Artizar having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Javier Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Lessa having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Froilan Abechuco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A hard shot 34 in the game by Froilan Abechuco from a close distance when the talented Benedicto Artizar managed to make a qualified save. Forres FC's players were relieved. If Javier Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Artizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Forres FC's zone, Jimeno Savier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Artizar came out of the goal and Jimeno Savier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 minutes, Froilan Abechuco made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Forres FC's Benedicto Artizar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Javier Ermano came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Colana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Ermano couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Forres FC's zone, Froilan Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Artizar came out of the goal and Froilan Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes, Froilan Abechuco made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Forres FC's Benedicto Artizar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Artizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Ermano in the 95th minute of play.
