The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Independiente FC's Cipriano Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Chale charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Chale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Harkaitz. 21 minutes into the match, Jesus Harkaitz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Caballeros Del Sur's Cesar Dino. Cesar Dino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Los Caballeros Del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Llorian came free, but Cesar Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Harkaitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesar Dino having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Harkaitz in the 34th minute of play forced Los Caballeros Del Sur's goalkeeper Cesar Dino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Los Caballeros Del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Llorian came free, but Cesar Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Dino having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Harkaitz made a kick off. Cipriano Llorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cesar Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Independiente FC's Cipriano Llorian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesar Dino. Cesar Dino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 58th match minute, Independiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Los Caballeros Del Sur's Cesar Dino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Caballeros Del Sur from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Jesus Harkaitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Dino, 0-6. Independiente FC's Carolo Furtado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ceferino Lauren in the 67 minute of the game. Los Caballeros Del Sur's Cesar Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Furtado in the 68th minute of play. Cesar Dino came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente FC's Carolo Furtado. But to his dismay, Carolo Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Julian Arce got a free kick in the 71st minute. A collision led to Los Caballeros Del Sur getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alonzo Sotil hit a great ball. Jesus Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Jesus Harkaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Harkaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Independiente FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Independiente FC's Benito Jerrold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Los Caballeros Del Sur's Cesar Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Llorian in the 89th minute of play.
