Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jesus Harkaitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Omar Lia's late challenge caught a Independiente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Lia helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Pereyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Lia. Jesus Harkaitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Astrada having to make a save. Independiente FC's Segundo Ermano suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Omar Lia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. After 16 played minutes Pereyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Lia. After 18 played minutes Pereyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Urki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Urbez in the 22nd minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Urbez came free, but Eleuterio Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Pereyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Llorian came free, but Elpidio Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Jesus Harkaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereyra FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Astrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jesus Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Astrada having to interfere. Filomeno Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Dabi having to interfere. Eleuterio Dabi came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Pereyra FC's Filomeno Urbez. But to his dismay, Filomeno Urbez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Jerrold struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Elpidio Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Urbez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jesus Harkaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Angelino Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cipriano Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Jesus Harkaitz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Independiente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Harkaitz couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Astrada having to interfere. Eleuterio Dabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filomeno Urbez went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Filomeno Urbez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Eleuterio Dabi made a huge save. Eleuterio Dabi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Filomeno Urbez sent off a good shot on target. Filomeno Urbez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Dabi having to make a save. Jesus Harkaitz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Elpidio Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente FC. After having played for 91 minutes, Benito Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jesus Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pereyra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pereyra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
