Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Froilan Abechuco got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Jimeno Savier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Leizarraga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Jimeno Savier fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colana's protests and gave Jimeno Savier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Colana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Savier to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match, Zacarias Cucao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viriato Lessa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arroyito's Paolo Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Abechuco in the 10th minute of play. Viriato Lessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Zacarias Cucao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Lessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Cucao in the 22nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Roldan in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colana's Rigoberto Misael. Arroyito's Paolo Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Ermano in the 25th minute of play. Colana's Froilan Abechuco managed to work through Arroyito's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Froilan Abechuco dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 27 played minutes Arroyito got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Benitez. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyito's zone, Javier Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Leizarraga came out of the goal and Javier Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amancio Benitez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Javier Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Abechuco in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Leizarraga saved Arroyito from getting behind. Javier Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Paolo Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Cucao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Arroyito's goalkeeper Paolo Leizarraga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Abechuco. Froilan Abechucos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Paolo Leizarraga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Viriato Lessa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Furtado went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Omar Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viriato Lessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Abechuco in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Leizarraga saved Arroyito from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Leonides Venceslao notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Colana's Viriato Lessa. Viriato Lessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Javier Ermano might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Leizarraga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Ermano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 81 minutes of play, Arroyito's Omar Furtado made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Lessa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Javier Ermano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paolo Leizarraga, passed just outside the right post. Arroyito's Paolo Leizarraga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Arroyito from getting a goal against them. Froilan Abechuco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paolo Leizarraga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Many of Colana's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Colana may have spent more time on the ball, but Arroyito were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
