Benedicto Artizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vasile Drogoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benedicto Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Naike scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Artizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Urbano Naike came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kraken FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Naike couldn't finish the play. After having played for 27 minutes, Romulo Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kraken FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Drogoreanu in the 31st minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Urbano Naike who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forres FC's Benedicto Artizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Wladyslaw Grabski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kraken FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wladyslaw Grabski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Artizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romulo Maiorga might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Artizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Maiorga ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Forres FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Diego Urki hit a great ball. If Romulo Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Obano made the kick off in the second half. Vasile Drogoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Artizar having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Martin Ofelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forres FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kraken FC the free kick. Mario Saturnin was slow to take the kick. During this time Kraken FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mario Saturnin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedicto Artizar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benedicto Artizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasile Drogoreanu in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Kraken FC got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Grabski. In the 73rd match minute, Forres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Urki to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Romulo Maiorga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes, Anselmo Mano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forres FC and the Kraken FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kraken FC played a much better game than Forres FC and deserved their victory. The Forres FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
