Elpidio Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Arsenio Harriet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julian Mundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Urbez in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Urbez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Mundo. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Silbestre in the 29th minute of play forced Pereyra FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Harriet in the 31st minute of the match. Jonas Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Capdeville's zone, Filomeno Urbez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Mundo came out of the goal and Filomeno Urbez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Ricardo Pelayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Oscar Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereyra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Playo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Mundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio George to make the kick off. If Filomeno Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Mundo having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Arsenio Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Harriet in the 60th minute of the match. Reynaldo Silbestre was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 65th minute, Amancio George reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elpidio Astrada. The goal made the score 2-2. Amancio George took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Astrada. Elpidio Astrada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jonas Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Urbez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Mundo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Arsenio Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Arsenio Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Capdeville players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
