Froilan Abechuco had several of the Capdeville's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julian Mundo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 45th minute, Jimeno Savier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio George to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Javier Ermano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Julian Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Abechuco in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Froilan Abechuco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Capdeville's Julian Mundo. Julian Mundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 60 played minutes, Colana's Gaudencio Sendoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julian Mundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colana reached it. Julian Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Abechuco in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Abechuco in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Mundo saved Capdeville from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Abechuco in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Mundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Javier Ermano made a precise shot to the right of Julian Mundo. Capdeville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Colana's Rigoberto Misael quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
