Eliseo Brun started the match with the kick off. Marcelo Bladi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. La que te Pario F.C.'s Felix Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Gaitan in the 12th minute of play. Enzo Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Jakes in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, La que te Pario F.C.'s Felix Martxelin got control of the ball when Marcelo Aurken tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcelo Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Baldomiro Gaitan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felix Martxelin, passed just outside the right post. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 41st minute, but Felix Martxelin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving La que te Pario F.C. hanging dry this time. When Serafino Colon fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La que te Pario F.C.'s protests and gave Serafino Colon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Serafino Colon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Gaitan was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Baldomiro Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Marcelo Aurken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Ruben Jakes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La que te Pario F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, La que te Pario F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Gaitan came free, but Felix Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Atlético de Rafaela's goalkeeper Enzo Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Bladi. Baldomiro Gaitan might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Martxelin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Gaitan ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Atlético de Rafaela booed when La que te Pario F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Atlético de Rafaela's goalkeeper Enzo Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Jakes. Felix Martxelin came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Rafaela's Marcelo Aurken. But to his dismay, Marcelo Aurken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eliseo Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Maule having to interfere. In the 95th minute Eliseo Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
