After a defensive mix-up in Forres FC's zone, Filomeno Urbez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Artizar came out of the goal and Filomeno Urbez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Urki hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Martin Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pereyra FC's Enzo Valente got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Martin Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Elpidio Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Martin Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Elpidio Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filomeno Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Forres FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filomeno Urbez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arsenio Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Artizar having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Obano made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Artizar came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pereyra FC's Arsenio Harriet. But to his dismay, Arsenio Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Martin Ofelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Elpidio Astrada made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Forres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Harriet came free, but Benedicto Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Forres FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Mano. Elpidio Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Filomeno Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Artizar having to interfere. Benedicto Artizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsenio Harriet went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Urbez in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Artizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arsenio Harriet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benedicto Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Urbez in the 89th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Pereyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Obano came free, but Elpidio Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pereyra FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Forres FC for a fine match.
