Anastasio Calvet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleuterio Dabi came out and tried to block the shot, but Anastasio Calvet slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente FC's zone, Romulo Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Dabi came out of the goal and Romulo Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Urbano Naike kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Dabi. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. With a little luck, Independiente FC's Eleuterio Dabi got control of the ball when Wladyslaw Grabski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Anastasio Calvet with Romulo Maiorga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Angelino Sidro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Urbano Naike's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Eleuterio Dabi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vasile Drogoreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Dabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Harkaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Independiente FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Delmiro Navarro hit a great ball. Ivan Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Jerrold in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Julian Arce got a free kick in the 60th minute. Independiente FC's Eleuterio Dabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Naike in the 62nd minute of play. Urbano Naike got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Urbano Naike hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kraken FC's Mario Saturnin got a free kick in the 69th minute. Wladyslaw Grabski kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Anastasio Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kraken FC booed when Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kraken FC had won after a very even match.
