Independiente FC's Jesus Harkaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Llorian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Donzel came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Llorian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Hernan Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Dabi having to interfere. Porco Rex FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Jesus Harkaitz scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Donzel, making the score, 2-0. Eleuterio Dabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Abaunza in the 34th minute of the match. Hernan Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Eleuterio Dabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Melquiades Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Dabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Porco Rex FC's Flavio Donzel got control of the ball when Benito Jerrold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Independiente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Harkaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Llorian might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Donzel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Llorian ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jonatan Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Harkaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Donzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jesus Harkaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Harkaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Donzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Independiente FC were the better team. Independiente FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
