In the 11th match minute, Alteza Balonpie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cai to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Alteza Balonpie's Geronimo Gelmiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Curcio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Maximiliano Irrintzi got a free kick in the 16th minute. Uriel Curcio was a little too slow when Jaime Iigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Raul Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Zacarias Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 35 in the game by Geronimo Gelmiro from a close distance when the talented Uriel Curcio managed to make a qualified save. Independiente FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Alteza Balonpie's Cipriano Herena got a free kick in the 37th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Ixona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafin Ladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarias Ixona got free with Serafin Ladio in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uriel Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Iigo in the 65th minute of the match. Serafin Ladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Ixona went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Jaime Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Ladio having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Zacarias Ixona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Serafin Ladio. The goal made the score 1-3. Raul Xacintu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 81st playminute. When Feliberto Bixintxo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente FC's protests and gave Feliberto Bixintxo a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Obano. Serafin Ladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Ixona in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes, Cipriano Herena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alteza Balonpie and the Independiente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cipriano Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Raul Xacintu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Serafin Ladio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Independiente FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Independiente FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
