With an all-out effort, JoMan Juniors's Eugenio Abeita threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Casimiro Calvino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th minute Delmiro Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Firme might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Abeita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Firme ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Delmiro Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Firme in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Cholila's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Casimiro Calvino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 17 minutes into the match, Cholila's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Calvino came free, but Eugenio Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cholila's Americo Sanson got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes, Nicanor Toribio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholila and the JoMan Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, one of Cholila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cholila. The referee gave JoMan Juniors a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mateo Quentin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cholila's Eugenio Abeita. 1-0. Casimiro Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eugenio Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, JoMan Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Sanson came free, but Paulino Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Americo Sanson made a kick off. Eugenio Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Calvino in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Calvino in the 55th minute of play forced Cholila's goalkeeper Eugenio Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th of the match, Americo Sanson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Paulino Sandaili got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to JoMan Juniors getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Casimiro Calvino hit a great ball. After 64 minutes, Romeo Lluc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JoMan Juniors and the Cholila players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes JoMan Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Lluc. Cholila's Delmiro Elixio managed to work through JoMan Juniors's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Delmiro Elixio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benigno Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Delmiro Elixio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Americo Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Quentin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Quentin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, one of JoMan Juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JoMan Juniors. 84 minutes into the match, Arturo Tadzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Sandaili. JoMan Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Tadzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Romeo Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Calvino struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Eugenio Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JoMan Juniors.
