Denis Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Maximo Totakoxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Isias struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Haroldo Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Boca Juniors. Atilano Telesforo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haroldo Maura came out and tried to block the shot, but Atilano Telesforo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Uspallata's goalkeeper Haroldo Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Telesforo. Apolo Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leslie Thebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Totakoxe in the 28th minute of the match. C. A. Boca Juniors's Leslie Thebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Deunoro in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Denis Urtungo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Haroldo Maura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 minutes, Vinicio Isias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Boca Juniors and the Uspallata players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uspallata booed when C. A. Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Isias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes C. A. Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Israel Frasco. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Urtungo to make the kick off. When Armando Eder came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the C. A. Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Eder couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Atilano Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Maura came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Boca Juniors's Denis Urtungo. But to his dismay, Denis Urtungo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 63rd match minute, Uspallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Ursino charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Ursino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Boca Juniors's Lorenzo Ursino got a free kick in the 70th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Maura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, C. A. Boca Juniors's Armando Eder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
