Uspallata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Totakoxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Sandaili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Deunoro in the 5th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Placido Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uspallata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Totakoxe in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Totakoxe in the 14th minute of play forced JoMan Juniors's goalkeeper Paulino Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uspallata's Haroldo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jobo in the 15th minute of play. With his leg Paulino Sandaili managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Uspallata's Federico Deunoro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Haroldo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Calvino in the 17th minute of the match. With 19 minutes on the clock, Honorio Mergildo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Uspallata:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JoMan Juniors:s goal. The referee gave JoMan Juniors a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mateo Quentin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uspallata's Haroldo Maura. 1-1. In the 25th minute Casimiro Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Paulino Sandaili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uspallata. If Placido Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Maximo Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uspallata's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Sandaili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Haroldo Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, JoMan Juniors's Casimiro Calvino got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Eustaquio Jobo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Maura having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Maximo Totakoxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Oxarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Calvino in the 72nd minute of the match. If Romeo Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in JoMan Juniors's zone, Placido Oxarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Sandaili came out of the goal and Placido Oxarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Casimiro Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Benigno Firme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JoMan Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 86th minute, Uspallata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romeo Lluc fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Haroldo Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes JoMan Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Todor. After a defensive mix-up in JoMan Juniors's zone, Ciriaco Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Sandaili came out of the goal and Ciriaco Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Totakoxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Sandaili having to interfere. The JoMan Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
