Mario George yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Evelio Elia fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cholila's protests and gave Evelio Elia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cholila's Evelio Elia got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mario George made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Gaston Totakoxe sent off a good shot on target. Delmiro Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario George having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Delmiro Elixio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Delmiro Elixio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Sanson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Mario George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cholila. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Elixio couldn't finish the play.
