The referee ignored Cienega's protests and gave Vladimiro Aznar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Cienega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Aznar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cienega's zone, Teodosio Gamus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Tano came out of the goal and Teodosio Gamus tried to chip the ball over his head.
