An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Ibañez in the 16th minute of play forced Venado II Club's goalkeeper Niceto Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Casimiro Leguizamón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Sal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niceto Dei made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ricardo Baladi sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Leguizamón in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Sal saved C. A. Sangre y Barro from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Siro Iturri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Sangre y Barro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venado II Club the free kick. Niceto Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Baladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Niceto Dei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Galtero in the 38th minute. C. A. Sangre y Barro's Fabian Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Cordaro in the 47th minute of play. Siro Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Ibañez made a kick off. Niceto Dei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venado II Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
