In the 12th minute, Efrain Cibran made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Lluciano. Villa Madero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nunez Sugoi's late challenge caught a Villa Madero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Sugoi helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lucio Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Villa Madero FC's Jaime Erramu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Lucas Lluciano made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Efrain Cibran sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Feliberto Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Cibran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Lluciano. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Efrain Cibran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Lluciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Marco Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efrain Cibran to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Madero FC's zone, Feliberto Librado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Lluciano came out of the goal and Feliberto Librado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Villa Madero FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jaime Erramu hit a great ball. A collision led to Pozuelos AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Feliberto Librado was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th match minute, Pozuelos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Librado to maneuver through the defense. When Lucio Miro came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Villa Madero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Miro couldn't finish the play. Efrain Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lucas Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Efrain Cibran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Lluciano was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Jaime Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Villa Madero FC defense, Efrain Cibran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Lluciano. The Villa Madero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Lluciano should have stopped the shot.
