The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Munio during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Angel Elodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Cordario. Leones de Old Trafford II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Elodio got free with Daniel Cordario in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Leones de Old Trafford II's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Pacho came free, but Daniel Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Real Betis Balompié's Teobaldo Pacho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Real Betis Balompié's Emiliano Sayvion got a free kick in the 38th minute. Angel Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Daniel Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Lauren in the 48th minute of play forced Real Betis Balompié's goalkeeper Nereo Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobaldo Pacho to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Angel Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Daniel Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Elodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Cordario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Elodio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 minutes, Baltasar Montay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones de Old Trafford II and the Real Betis Balompié players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leones de Old Trafford II's Baltasar Montay got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Angel Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Elodio in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Leones de Old Trafford II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Montay to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Baltasar Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Real Betis Balompié's Teobaldo Pacho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Elodio in the 85th minute of play forced Leones de Old Trafford II's goalkeeper Daniel Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Marcial Nataniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teobaldo Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Daniel Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Betis Balompié's Nereo Bermund got control of the ball when Anier Munio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Betis Balompié's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
