After 60 played minutes, Villa Madero FC's Florencio Maurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesus Argi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Madero FC reached it. In the 63rd match minute, Club Atlético Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Francho was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Boedo's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Severo Baristo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Bitxintxo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
