Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de Caseros's zone, Maximino Panpili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Leizarraga came out of the goal and Maximino Panpili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Rolado's late challenge caught a Cienega's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cosme Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Chago during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cienega's Damian Chago got a free kick in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Panpili in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Leizarraga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Israel Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienega's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Leizarraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cosme Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Leizarraga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Panpili's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Israel Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Panpili made a kick off. Maximino Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Leizarraga having to interfere. Maximino Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Norberto Domenec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de Caseros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Domenec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Norberto Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Maximino Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Casimiro Nicholas fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de Caseros's protests and gave Casimiro Nicholas a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes, Cienega's Godofredo Ruy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Leizarraga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cienega reached it. 87 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Caseros's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Vedillo came free, but Cosme Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Maximino Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Cienega players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
