In the 42nd minute, Sacachispas F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nestor Chuan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Eliseo Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Miro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 49 minutes Villa Madero FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermengildo Merexildo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hermengildo Merexildo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucas Lluciano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Sacachispas F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Teobaldo Ganix's late challenge caught a Villa Madero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. Teobaldo Ganix hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Silvio Cayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Sacachispas F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Madero FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sacachispas F.C.'s Guillermo Urtsin got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Nestor Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sacachispas F.C.'s Eliseo Calisto managed to work through Villa Madero FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eliseo Calisto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jaime Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play Sacachispas F.C.'s Guillermo Urtsin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Guillermo Urtsin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Villa Madero FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucio Miro in the 95th minute. After taking down the ball on Villa Madero FC's corner Lucio Miro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvio Cayo quite easily take care of the ball. The Sacachispas F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sacachispas F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
