Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cecilio Ibañez started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Sangre y Barro's zone, Modesto Conrao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Sal came out of the goal and Modesto Conrao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Baladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Pepillo having to interfere. Ricardo Baladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, C. A. Sangre y Barro's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Arias came free, but Fabian Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Danilo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Conrao in the 18th minute of the match. When Cecilio Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the C. A. Sangre y Barro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Ibañez couldn't finish the play. A collision led to C. A. Sangre y Barro getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Siro Iturri hit a great ball. Placido Liberto, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After recieving a nice pass, C. A. Sangre y Barro's Wilfredo Pasqual tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes C. A. Sangre y Barro got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Galtero. In the 40th minute, Anibal Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cecilio Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Sangre y Barro's Fabian Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Conrao in the 45th minute of play. If Ricardo Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. Modesto Conrao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute Cecilio Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Conrao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cecilio Ibañez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Pepillo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Delmar Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Ibañez in the 61st minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Ricardo Baladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lanena's Delmar Pepillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in lanena's zone, Cecilio Ibañez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Pepillo came out of the goal and Cecilio Ibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. Sangre y Barro's goalkeeper Fabian Sal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Conrao. lanena's Delmar Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Baladi in the 94th minute of play. Anibal Berenguer was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. C. A. Sangre y Barro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilfredo Pasqual in the 98th minute. The corner ended in Wilfredo Pasqual almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but lanena's Delmar Pepillo did a great save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
