After a rather tough play, Escobar's Ermegildo Petri got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of Capitán Tomate booed when Escobar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ermegildo Petri fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escobar's protests and gave Ermegildo Petri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Capitán Tomate booed when Escobar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Escobar's Cayetano Cugat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Sarracino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Casimiro Irrintzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Sarracino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Goito in the 37th minute of the match. When Cayetano Cugat came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Escobar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Cugat couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Tiadoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Cugat took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Sarracino. Astor Sarracino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cayetano Cugat might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Sarracino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayetano Cugat ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Calisto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Melquiades Rexino. Leon Calisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Tiadoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of Escobar booed when Capitán Tomate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cayetano Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jose Goito came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Escobar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Goito couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Sarracino having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Capitán Tomate's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Cugat came free, but Astor Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Goito in the 95th minute of play.
