Paulino Naelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Platon might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Liher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Platon ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the game, Bartolo Ermengol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fighiera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chovet FC the free kick. Bartolo Ermengol hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Cleto Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chovet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Perutxo couldn't finish the play. If Anier Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Platon in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Liher saved Fighiera from getting behind. If Cleto Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Florian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chovet FC's Paulino Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Florian in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Cleto Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maximino Natal fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fighiera's protests and gave Maximino Natal a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Fighiera got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Natal. After a rather tough play, Fighiera's Armando Blasi got a free kick in the 57th minute. Anier Platon struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Anastasio Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chovet FC. After some careless play in the Fighiera defense, Cleto Perutxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Liher. The Fighiera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Liher should have stopped the shot. Anier Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anastasio Liher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Caton in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulino Naelio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. It was a well-played corner which Gustavo Bonadona managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Cleto Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Perutxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Liher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Anier Platon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chovet FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chovet FC fully deserved thier win.
