With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Macario in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Liher saved Fighiera from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Gerardo Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Urbano Caton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anastasio Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Macario in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Liher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Fighiera got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Ermengol. Esteban Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Liher having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Beltran in the 29th minute of play forced Fighiera's goalkeeper Anastasio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Bartolo Ermengol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fighiera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calesita FC the free kick. A collision led to Fighiera getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bartolo Ermengol hit a great ball. Sixto Rubio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Caton in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Fernando Petrigai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Liher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esteban Macario might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Liher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Macario ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Esteban Macario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Liher. Fighiera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Macario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Florian made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Fighiera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calesita FC:s goal. Fighiera:s Anastasio Liher showed great skill when he stopped Gerardo Beltran:s penalty. Esteban Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Liher having to interfere. Anastasio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Beltran in the 60th minute of play. Esteban Macario struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Anastasio Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calesita FC. With a little luck, Fighiera's Anastasio Liher got control of the ball when Esteban Macario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calesita FC's Sixto Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Caton in the 71st minute of play. Octavio Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Saul Eztebe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Rubio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Fulgencio Florian fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fighiera's protests and gave Fulgencio Florian a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fighiera getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fulgencio Florian hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fighiera's zone, Esteban Macario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Liher came out of the goal and Esteban Macario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Natal's late challenge caught a Calesita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Natal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Calesita FC booed when Fighiera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Esteban Macario came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Calesita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Macario couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Fulgencio Florian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Macario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Anastasio Liher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Esteban Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Macario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 100thth minute tested the skills of Anastasio Liher when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Calesita FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
