Calesita FC's Gerardo Beltran got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Octavio Rufio came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Calesita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Rufio couldn't finish the play. Cristian Gerazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Gerazan ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Gerardo Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calesita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaspar Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Macario in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Lastenia FC booed when Calesita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Macario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Calesita FC's goalkeeper Sixto Rubio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Gerazan. Vinicio Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Rubio having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Esteban Macario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lastenia FC's Gaspar Iago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Efraim's late challenge caught a Calesita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Efraim helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Lastenia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calesita FC:s goal. Gaspar Iago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Macario's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gerardo Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Macario in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Iago saved Lastenia FC from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lastenia FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Calesita FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gerardo Beltran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lastenia FC's Gaspar Iago. 4-0. In the 92nd minute, Nemesio Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Esteban Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Calesita FC's Sixto Rubio got control of the ball when Cristian Gerazan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Esteban Macario fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calesita FC's protests and gave Esteban Macario a yellow card for diving instead. Esteban Macario kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Sixto Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Chano in the 99th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Calesita FC had played much better football throughout.
