Sevinge F.C.'s Gervasio Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Cugat in the 3rd minute of play. Cayetano Cugat struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Gervasio Liberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escobar. Sevinge F.C.'s Gavino Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Quinteros got free with Leon Calisto in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 17 minutes, Jonathan Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sevinge F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cayetano Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Candido Orlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Osoitz's late challenge caught a Escobar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Osoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Gervasio Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Goito in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sevinge F.C.'s goalkeeper Gervasio Liberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gervasio Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Escobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Orlin to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes, Norberto Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sevinge F.C. and the Escobar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norberto Quilo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Goito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cayetano Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Lertxun's late challenge caught a Sevinge F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Escobar's Oscar Lertxun got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gervasio Liberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Cugat went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Sevinge F.C. booed when Escobar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Cugat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Sevinge F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Porfirio came free, but Gervasio Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cayetano Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escobar's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Cugat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Liberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sevinge F.C.'s Ivan Osoitz got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Ivan Osoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Calisto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cayetano Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 played minutes Escobar got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Petri.
