If Jonathan Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Sandalio to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sandalio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soto FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Iraitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Leocadio succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Defensores Alberdi Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Jonathan Sandalio scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Bikendi, making the score, 1-1. Baldomiro Bikendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Soto FC booed when Defensores Alberdi Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes of play, Soto FC's Patricio Huly made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Bikendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Soto FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soto FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
