The Gryffindor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Gipuzkoa should have stopped the shot. Paulo Matteo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Gipuzkoa having to make a save. 17 minutes into the game, Zonca F.C.'s Paulo Matteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Gipuzkoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Paulo Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Zonca F.C.'s Paulo Matteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Gipuzkoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Stanislao during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Fidel Beltran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zonca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Beltran in the 44th minute of play forced Gryffindor's goalkeeper Braulio Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Matteo came free, but Braulio Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Matteo in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Gipuzkoa saved Gryffindor from getting behind. The Gryffindor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zonca F.C. were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Illart was the one to do the kick off. Paolo Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Illart in the 64th minute of play. Paulo Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Zonca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Matteo. 71 minutes into the match, Zonca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when German Dei came free, but Paolo Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Delmiro Soin fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gryffindor's protests and gave Delmiro Soin a yellow card for diving instead. Delmiro Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Gryffindor booed when Zonca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Pero hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Paolo Jayvier came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Gryffindor's Constantino Illart. But to his dismay, Constantino Illart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Zonca F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
