Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 10) San Francesco de Almagro's Modesto Nesto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 17 minutes, Pascual Chucho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Marcelo Bielsa's Osvaldo Llope tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. San Francesco de Almagro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marcelo Bielsa the free kick. The supporters of Marcelo Bielsa booed when San Francesco de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Jerold in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Benito Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Unai's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Unai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Teo Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Jerold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Higinio Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Unai in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Cleto Salvator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Francesco de Almagro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teo Unai 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Marcelo Bielsa booed when San Francesco de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Ceferino Romo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and San Francesco de Almagro's Higinio Cordeiro didn't even have to move. Delmar Jerold scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Cordeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teo Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Cordeiro having to interfere. If Teo Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Teo Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Bielsa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
