Cristo Galoer struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Arnoldo Eliazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trilí. Arnoldo Eliazar made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Cristo Galoer sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Domenec hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes, Igor Aballe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trilí and the HURACAN de Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Trilí getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Igor Aballe hit a great ball. Arnoldo Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Igor Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trilí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Aballe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestino Luzea charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Luzea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, HURACAN de Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Luzea to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Galoer struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Arnoldo Eliazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trilí. In the 29th minute Evaristo Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Clemente Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Baristo's late challenge caught a Trilí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Baristo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to HURACAN de Lugano getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Clemente Baristo hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Giraldo made a kick off. Isaac Sandaili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Celestino Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HURACAN de Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Baristo came free in the 58th minute and tried to tip the ball over Artemio Oliverios, but to the joy of Trilí's supporters the ball went over. In the 65th minute, Celestino Luzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Oliverios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Celestino Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 72nd minute of the match Igor Aballe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Igor Aballe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arnoldo Eliazar came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Trilí's Cristo Galoer. But to his dismay, Cristo Galoer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arnoldo Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Galoer in the 79th minute of the match. Artemio Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Artemio Oliverios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HURACAN de Lugano were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
