But to his dismay, Horacio Baleren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Horacio Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Sindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Su got free with Blas Sindo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes, Marucha FC's Simon Gaxan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blas Sindo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marucha FC reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luciano Cheche made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Cheche struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Blas Sindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marucha FC. Marucha FC's Nereo Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Baleren in the 59th minute of play. Horacio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Lucero having to interfere. If Florentino Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Marucha FC booed when Sunchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Horacio Baleren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Marucha FC's Cayetano Mingo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marucha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Horacio Baleren scored to the left of an out of position Nereo Lucero, making the score, 0-2. If Samuel Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Lucero having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Sunchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Su came free, but Blas Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luciano Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Sunchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. When Luciano Cheche came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Marucha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Cheche couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sunchu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
