Sunchu FC's Horacio Baleren got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sunchu FC's zone, Silverio Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Sindo came out of the goal and Silverio Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C. La Tenes Adentro's Aquilino Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Baleren was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Silverio Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Libertad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Aquilino Libertad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. La Tenes Adentro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Silverio Fernanco fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. La Tenes Adentro's protests and gave Silverio Fernanco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Silverio Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Reynardo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, F.C. La Tenes Adentro's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Roland came free, but Gaston Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Fernanco in the 87th minute of play forced Sunchu FC's goalkeeper Blas Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 88th minute when Aquilino Libertad elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Sunchu FC's Samuel Guillen in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. La Tenes Adentro's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C. La Tenes Adentro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
