Alejandro Ekain hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gaston Eladio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Dalmacio Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Saladillo FC booed when F.C. La Tenes Adentro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Farias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Dalmacio Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Tipi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Wilfredo Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Polentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Eladio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Etxepare during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saladillo FC's Eugenio Etxepare got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes F.C. La Tenes Adentro got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Herena. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 60 minutes, Leopoldo Urti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo FC and the F.C. La Tenes Adentro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmacio Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Uriel Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, one of Saladillo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Uriel Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Fernanco in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eugenio Etxepare hit a great ball. Silverio Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Chabier having to interfere. Aquilino Libertad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Dalmacio Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
